Problem
In a poorly constructed post-war building, mold was growing on several walls in the apartment under the flat roof. Both rooms were bedrooms, and sustainable, toxin-free renovation was urgently required.
Solution
Since the property management company did not address the issue, the tenants took the initiative themselves:
After the mold had been professionally treated, the affected rooms were completely repainted in December 2023 with mold-resistant paint from the ClimateCoating® series.
Result
Since then, both rooms have been free of mold and are still used as bedrooms. Neither the position of the furniture nor the living or ventilation habits have been changed, but no new infestation has occurred.
